Coogee espresso

The staff at Espresso may be the nicest staff I’ve ever interacted with. Not only did they kindly let me swap out aspects of my food due to allergies, but after I accidentally broke the salt shaker above my plate, they remade the entire meal for me without a cost. Highly recommend this place and well done to the staff, made my day :)

This was my first time at espresso. The food looks beautiful and is so flavourful. There is a great range to choose from. This a great breakfast-lunch spot to go to. The service was exceptional. Everyone was kind and so fun to talk to. The price range is also pretty affordable and its right by the beach so its a quick walk with ocean view.

I only grabbed coffee so I can’t rank the food. However, I loved the vibe of this place. The staff made it feel like home and were lovely. I stumbled upon this coffee shop when I was on vacation in Sydney and my family did the Bondi to Coogee walk. My coffee was savory and I’m so happy my family and I found this.

The coffee is absolutely amazing – rich, flavorful, and clearly crafted by people who know their beans. The croissants and pastries are fresh and delicious. The sandwiches and food dishes are also incredibly tasty – well-prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Whether you’re there for a light snack or a full meal, you won’t be disappointed. The service is excellent; the staff are friendly, welcoming, and quick to serve with great attention to detail. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a top-notch coffee and dining experience!

Love this cafe !! Great service with delicious food & fabulous coffee only a very short walk from the beach - what more could you ask for? I really enjoyed the Halloumi Stack & Coffee before heading off to fix computers near by. Also bought 2 of the tasty Easter themed muffins which were very enjoyable !! If you are in the Coogee area and hungry for something really enjoyable to eat and drink… do yourself a favour and visit Coogee Espresso - you will not be disappointed.

Simply outstanding. I would move to Coogee beach just to be able to frequent this wonderful little restaurant as much as possible. The food was fresh and delicious. They have fresh juices. The staff was friendly and happy and went out of their way to take care of their customers so impressed with this place and grateful for all the wonderful meals we had here. Two of our favs-the açaí bowl with the most amazing pistachio sauce and the tempura poke bowl. The also had great fresh apples and a great atmosphere-right across from the beach!

I opted for the smashed avocado plate served on perfectly toasted bread, topped with freshly cooked scrambled eggs. Each bite was a testament to their commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors were well-balanced, with the creaminess of the avocado complementing the fluffy eggs beautifully. Adding a side of their rich, velvety hollandaise sauce elevated the dish, providing that extra layer of indulgence without overpowering the natural taste of the ingredients. On this warm day, the tropical freshly squeezed juice I ordered was the perfect companion to my meal.
